Tamara Yazbek is a Mexican filmmaker and a graduate of the Master's program in Visual Anthropology at Goldsmiths, University of London.
She was nominated for Best Supporting Actress at the Diosas de Oro Awards for her role in After Lucía, a film that won the Un Certain Regard award at the Cannes Film Festival.
Her debut short documentary as director, producer, and cinematographer, Refugio, was selected at various prestigious film festivals and is currently available on Filmin Latino.
She has directed several laurated short films and done commercial work for Coppel, Innovasport, Johnnie Walker, Buchanan's y HSBC.
