León Rechy is a Mexican director and screenwriter. He studied at the University’s Center of Filmmaking Studies in the National University (CUEC - UNAM).
His work highlights “Angustia” (Angst), a short film selected at more than 30 festivals, including the Tribeca Film Festival, as well as the short film “Animal" (Animal) and “Romo” selected in the Festival du Films du Monde.
His documentary series México Negro won the TAL Award.
As a commercial director he has worked with brands like Netflix, Sony Music, The Guardian, Barcel, Choco Milk, Santander Bank, Luxottica, Coppel, among others.
